Dr Muriel Pécastaing-Boissière

Dr Muriel Pécastaing-Boissière is a Senior Lecturer in British Civilisation at Sorbonne-University. She researches the links between the socialist movement, the fight for women’s rights, and the spiritual and occult revival in Britain in 1880-1914. Her biography Annie Besant (1847-1933): Struggles and Quest was first published in French in 2015, then in English and German in 2017.
